Wells LitSupport Remote Access Policy 2011
Wells LitSupport is a Litigation Support Project Management Solution. We offer
an array of solutions for our clientele that provide secure and reliable access
to our clients locally or remotely.
Wells LitSupport
provides Remote Access Client Administration services to many
of its corporate and legal clients as an economical alternative to the burden of
hiring a full time Litigation Support Manager or Data Analyst.
Some of these services include:
► Database Architecture and Design
► Data Integration and Upload
► Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution
► General Database or project maintenance, such as database indexing or
migration
ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY
Wells LitSupport follows a strict acceptable use policy when
remotely administering client machines. This use policy exists to set a
guideline of how Wells LitSupport will operate while logged into a client
computer remotely. Wells LitSupport's goal is to leave the smallest footprint
possible while operating on client equipment, while promoting security and
operating within the client's existing network storage plan.
► Folder structure and database nomenclature is recorded
and adhered to strictly.
►Wells
LitSupport will never download software without written consent from the
client. Downloaded software could be of the following categories, and may be
removed by Wells LitSupport upon completion of the project.
a) Litigation Support based utility, for use in productions or indexing
b) Remote access based utility, upgrades to existing application software
c) FTP access based utility, upgrades to existing application software
d) File renaming or file conversion utility, for use in productions or database
maintenance
Wherever possible, Wells LitSupport will not use the client's web browser.
Client access password schemas are not committed to paper or digital media.
Wells LitSupport reserves the right to choose and or apply new remote access
technologies as they become available. However, as mentioned above, all
software changes or upgrades will be discussed with the client and permission
documented in writing.
